The <a href=\"https:\/\/thebestofflorianopolis.com\/en\/hiking-tour-lagoinha-do-leste\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Lagoinha do Leste trail<\/strong><\/span><\/a> is almost a \u201crite of passage\u201d for anyone who loves Floripa. Extend the hike to Morro da Coroa. The route offers beautiful viewpoints overlooking Lagoa da Concei\u00e7\u00e3o, Praia Mole, the Joaquina dunes, and the entire stretch of Galheta Beach. It\u2019s very photogenic! The beginning is a bit steep, but once you reach the viewpoints, the hike becomes much easier.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1124\" data-end=\"1924\" class=\"translation-block\">Fun fact: Galheta Beach is known for being an unofficial optional-nudity beach. The path is well-marked and easygoing, perfect for families, beginners, or anyone looking for a lighter hike. Once there, you can take a short trail leading to the lighthouse. It is not open to visitors, but the walk is still worth it to see the ruins up close and take great photos. In total, including this detour, the experience takes about two hours.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Tip: Local residents run small restaurants on the beach, serving simple and delicious food. Gravat\u00e1 Trail<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-541f56cf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"541f56cf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li class=\"translation-block\">Location: Between Praia Mole and Barra da Lagoa<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\">Difficulty: Easy<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\">Average time: 30 minutes<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"translation-block\">This short trail leads to the small and hidden Gravat\u00e1 Beach, surrounded by hills and Atlantic Forest. The beach is located on the eastern side of the island, between Praia Mole and Joaquina Beach. It\u2019s a great option for those looking for a light hike (despite the steep climb) and to escape crowded beaches. The trail starts at Rodovia Jornalista Manoel de Menezes, 346, but be aware: parking is not allowed there. You may get fined or even have your vehicle towed.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Tip: The last time I went, in August 2024, there was a highline set up. Along the way, you\u2019ll pass waterfalls, century-old houses, and small lakeside restaurants.
